JUNE 30 - DEADLINE FOR DCS IDOL AUDITIONS
Start rehearsing and submit your audition video by June 30, 2006 for the DCS Idol Talent Competition and Award. We are looking for singers or singing musicians from the Collections, Recovery, Debt Buying or Debt Selling industry. All videos will be reviewed by a select panel to narrow the field to the semi-finalists. The audition videos for those semi-finalists will be featured on the conference website to allow the attendees to choose 4 finalists. The four finalists will perform live on the DCS 2006 Idol Awards stage at the Black Tie Benefit Tribute and Celebration on September 7, 2006 at the Debt Connection Symposium and Expo 2006.

DONATIONS BEING ACCEPTED NOW FOR DCS2006 CHARITY AUCTION TO BENEFIT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF ORANGE COUNTY
Last September at the Black Tie Gala Tribute Awards conducted in connection with CRS2005, our industry raised more than $250,000 for Children's Hospital of Orange County. It was a fun and rewarding experience. We're hoping to again help out the hospital with some immediate needs they have. At Debt Connection Symposium and Expo 2006, our Black Tie Event, Thursday, September 7th, will include a charity auction for Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). The hospital is in immediate need of a very special transporter machine they use for extremely critical babies who need to be transported from their birth hospital to the facilities at Children's Hospital. A highly skilled team uses a transport incubator with specialty ventilators, specialty medical gases and intensive monitoring devices to successfully bring critically ill babies up to 10 pounds to CHOC for possible ECMO treatment. CHOC is a Regional ECMO Center, providing life-saving extended cardio-pulmonary bypass to critical neonates, infants and children from Orange County and surrounding areas. ECMO stands for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. ECMO is a special procedure that allows sick or injured lungs the opportunity to rest and get better. In the past, prior to this specialty transport equipment being available, futile efforts were experienced in attempts to bring these critically ill babies and children to CHOC. The cost of a transport machine is $113,343.30. If you can help out with auction donations for our event, please email judy.hammond@resourcemanagement.com. For more information about CHOC, the event, or their immediate needs, please visit our website at: http://www.dcs2006.com/choc_benefit.html
